OUR STORY

A Sanctuary for The Senses

An evolution of ONDA Beauty, Lume embodies a new chapter in clean beauty and wellbeing. Co-founded by Sarah Bryden-Brown, ONDA began as an online clean beauty store in her New York City apartment in 2016, quickly growing to include stores in NYC, London, and Sydney.

In 2022, ONDA Beauty was sold in the USA, yet the Sydney store remained in Sarah’s hands, ready for transformation.

Meet Lume

Inspired by the Latin word lumen– the light of life, an opening – Lume emerged as a refreshed space on Oxford Street, preserving the same serene environment and thoughtfully curated products the ONDA community have come to know and love. As Lume, we remain dedicated to clean beauty while deepening our commitment to rejuvenation, restoration, and community.

Here, you can reconnect with familiar products while discovering new ways to nurture both inner and outer wellbeing.

What Matters to Us

Every treatment, product, and interaction at Lume is grounded in:

Authenticity
Sincerity is at the heart of everything we do, from the integrity of our product ingredients to the thoughtful care behind each treatment.

Connection
Drives us to cultivate an environment that encourages reconnection – with oneself, with nature, and with others.

Excellence in Care
Inspired by Sarah and her daughter Lucy’s shared passion, ensures that our offerings uphold the highest standards in clean beauty, delivering treatments that are both luxurious and deeply nourishing.

Family at Heart

The journey of Lume is one shared between mother and daughter, Sarah and Lucy. Together, they have shaped Lume into a sanctuary that reflects their personal journey as family, business partners, and advocates for holistic care. Their shared vision of a space that feels both luxurious and welcoming is what makes Lume a truly unique destination in Sydney.

All of us are simply energy, and how you care for, replenish, and share yours will carry you through both the dark times and the light. Lume will be here to meet you, on whatever kind of day you’re having.
