Holy Bar Soap

Mater’s Holy bar is a castile-style soap designed to awaken and clarify, creating a light, revitalising lather that feels almost ethereal on the skin. Alkanet root powder gives the bar its deep royal-purple hue, while palo santo and lavender blend into a scent that’s both grounding and quietly uplifting — a clean, resinous calm with a soft floral undercurrent.

Each bar is cold-processed, handmade in NYC, and cured for four weeks to create a dense, long-wearing lather without any artificial ingredients, preservatives, or synthetic fragrance. Soaps are cut by hand, and like all handmade bars, they last longest when kept dry between uses.
